AstroNoir Afterwork Drinks

Join us for our first afternoon drinks, where you will have the chance to sit down and talk with other Geneva professionals; giving yourself the chance to build lasting connections.

With various ice-breaking games and a skills workshop, this event should develop your professional abilities.

We invite all those of working age, with guests usually varying from ages 20-65.

Chaneil James, our founder, will be at the venue to greet and introduce you to the other attendees. Furthermore, the first person to arrive will get a complimentary drink.

This occurrence will act as the first in-person networking event, with meetings happening bi-monthly and in various locations throughout Europe.

AstroNoir started as a science communications website with the aim to make science accessible and inclusive for all. We cover topics related to natural sciences (ie Earth and space sciences), engineering and technology, medical and health sciences, agricultural sciences, social sciences, and humanities. Since our start in 2020, we have posted plenty of blog posts, hosted talks and published videos, etc. Whilst we prioritise science outreach, we also want to help people throughout various sectors grow their connections; linking industry to academia and governments.

Our mission at AstroNoir is to:

• Promote education for all, through accessible resources
• Introduce students to industry professionals and government officials
• Create hands-on events to encourage people from all backgrounds to build on their scientific knowledge
